Tech Stack: Ruby 3.2+, Rails 7+, RSpec, RuboCop. Follow Ruby Style Guide. Max line length: 120 characters. Use frozen_string_literal: true in every file. Prefer symbols over strings for hash keys and identifiers. Use keyword arguments for methods with 2+ parameters. Guard clauses for early returns. Avoid deep nesting. Rails: fat models are OK up to ~200 lines, then extract service objects. Controllers: one public method per action. Use before_action for shared logic. Database: always add indexes for foreign keys and frequently queried columns. Migrations: never modify existing migrations. Always create new ones. Background jobs: ActiveJob + Sidekiq. Idempotent job design. Testing: RSpec with FactoryBot. Request specs over controller specs. Security: strong parameters, CSRF protection, Content Security Policy.
