Tech Stack: .NET 8+, C# 12, ASP.NET Core, Entity Framework Core. Use nullable reference types. Enable in project file. Prefer records for DTOs and value objects. Use primary constructors. Async all the way: async/await from controller to database. Never .Result or .Wait(). Use IOptions<T> pattern for configuration. Never read raw IConfiguration in services. Dependency injection: register services by interface. Scoped for request-lifetime. Naming: async methods end with Async. Interfaces start with I. File-scoped namespaces. One type per file (except nested classes). Entity Framework: migrations via CLI. Always review generated SQL. Use AsNoTracking() for queries that don't modify data. API responses: use IActionResult with typed results. Problem Details for errors. Testing: xUnit + FluentAssertions. WebApplicationFactory for integration tests. Logging: ILogger<T> from Microsoft.Extensions.Logging. Structured logging always.
